Dogs are natural hunters. They’ve been used for hunting game, such as rabbits and foxes for their owners. However, there are cases when dogs can actually become friends with these animals.
A St. Bernard named Gimli shares an amazing friendship with a bunny named Samwise. The two are inseparable, and they spend a lot of time playing with each other. Gimli is also very protective of his bunny brother, and whenever another dog comes near Samwise, Gimli would gently get in between his bunny brother and the dog.
Gimli and Samwise’s mom, Erica Payne, is more than happy that her dog and bunny are best friends. Whenever she takes Gimli out in the yard, Samwise would follow him and spend their time playing and chasing each other. Gimli would also follow Samwise around to make sure that he doesn’t get in trouble.
Gimli and Samwise developed a special friendship. Although Gimli is a big dog, he has the personality of a sweet baby. Gimli and Samwise do everything together. They eat together and take naps together.
Erica and her husband also adopted another dog to add to the pack. The dog was a stray, and his owner abandoned him because of the forty dollar medication. Now, Gimli and Sam are looking out for their new brother. They’re now a big happy family with loving parents who will always shower them with love and spoil them.
Erica and her husband want everyone to adopt shelter dogs and hopes that people realize the joy they feel whenever they come home and be greeted by their furry kids. Gimli and Sam’s friendship shows us that all animals can be friends. As long as we treat them with love, these animals will return that love to us tenfold.
The three siblings are enjoying the best days of their lives. They have such amazing parents and siblings to play with, and these dogs and bunny are incredibly lucky to be part of the home that they have. Here’s a video showing Gimli and Samwise’s adorable friendship. After watching the video, you can’t help but swoon to how cute Gimli and Samwise’s friendship is.
